Presenters

Deadlines and Formatting Tips

All presenters are required to provide the following:

  • An abstract of your presentation & brief biography due 2 July 2012
  • A written paper due 1 October, 2012
  • A PowerPoint presentation - due 22 October, 2012

Abstract: The abstract should introduce and give a brief overview of the topic. Please include the title, author(s) and their affiliations. It should be kept to one/half page.

Brief Biography: A short paragraph on authors background, qualifications etc.

Written Paper (to be published in the Proceedings): Please download the following file which contains template guide for your paper: Presenter Template Guide. Presenters are required to observe the following non-commercialism policy: Non-commercialism policy. Papers or reports must be presented by one of their authors.

 

Full Length Papers (5-10+ pages)

Full length papers either describe innovative work in detail or provide critical, well-referenced overviews of key developments or best practices.


Reports (2-5 pages)

Reports describe a specific technology, application, or activity (e.g. case history) in a concise format.

 

PowerPoint Presentation: Presenters will have approximately forty to forty-five (40-45) minutes to present their material unless otherwise specified.

Please upload your Power Point presentation by 22 October, 2012 but remember to bring a backup copy (either on disc or portable USB drive). Also, if your presentation has any special effects including video, sound, animation, etc please let us know in advance so that we can coordinate with the onsite AV staff in order to prevent any last minute complications.

Presenter Registration: Though presenters and panel session contributors are given complimentary access to the conference, we need you to formally register using the "presenters" registration option so that we can maintain accurate attendance records
