Chris Stefanski is an independent Electric Utility Consultant with experience in the development and optimization of Substation Maintenance Programs.  He recently retired from Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd) in Chicago where he was instrumental in developing Maintenance Programs and Policies for the Energy Delivery business as well as Material Condition Assessment Programs for substation assets. While at ComEd, Chris pioneered the installation of various on-line monitoring systems and the implementation of  life-extension technologies for transformers, breakers and other substation equipment. Mr. Stefanski earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  During his 35-year career with the utility, Chris has held various technical and managerial positions in the areas of distribution and substation equipment specification, installation and maintenance.  He has co-authored papers in the area of substation predictive diagnostics and has been a member of several industry working groups.
