Speaker Information

All speakers are required to provide the following information:

	An abstract of your presentation & brief biography – due Friday, 8th August 2008
	A written paper – due Friday, 24th October 2008
	A PowerPoint presentation  - due Friday, 7th November 2008

Abstract

The abstract should introduce and give a brief overview of the topic. Please include the title, author(s) and their affiliations. It should be kept to one page if possible.

Brief Biography

A short paragraph on authors background, qualifications etc. There will also be a more substantial (three paragraph) biography included in the proceedings.

Written Paper (to be published in the Proceedings)

In order for us to compile and prepare the proceedings, the deadline for submitting your paper is required by Friday, 11th January 2008.  Please send your final version as an e-mail attachment to Cinamon Moten at cmot@tjh2b.com

Powerpoint Presentation

Speakers will have approximately forty (40) minutes to present their material unless otherwise specified. 

Here are a few tips to ensure a viewer-friendly presentation.

	Please use either a Tahoma or Arial font on all slides.
	The program used is Microsoft PowerPoint.
	Remember if it takes longer than 3 seconds for a viewer to understand and assimilate what is on your slide, then     there is too much information.
	Keep words on your slides to a minimum, using bullet points.

Please e-mail your presentation by Friday, 7th November 2008, but remember to bring a backup copy (either on disc or portable USB drive).  Also, if your presentation has any special effects including video, sound, animation, etc please let me know in advance so that we can coordinate with the on-site AV staff to prevent any last minute complications. 

Speaker Registration

Though speakers and panel session contributors are given complimentary access to the conference, we need you to formally register using the "speaker" option so that we can maintain accurate attendance records.
